"Let us pray for the Church of God throughout the world in its several denominations, and for all people of faith: that the love of God may be seen and known in the lives of all who call upon his name"

Eimii Boswell-Harris
Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving to mark ANZAC Day
Westminster Abbey
London

This was our third ANZAC Day in London and this year Eimii was asked to take part in the service at Westminster Abbey by reading a prayer with other children from Australia and New Zealand. Karen and Paul also joined us for both the Cenotaph service and the main service in Westminster.
Even though ANZAC Day was during the week a large crowd still turned out along White Hall.
The New Zealand High Commissioner, left, Rt Hon Jonathan Hunt and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rt Hon Winston Peters.
Chief of General Staff, Sir Mike Jackson
The day was a time for some to reflect on friends who have been left behind.
A level of the respect accorded to the day by the British. The Chiefs of Staff for the British Ministry of Defence.
And also a day for the young to be a part of, although some found the hats a bit too scary!
