We headed off to Trafalgar Square for a summer dance festival, that was being put on by the Mayors of London, with Karen and Paul for the day. |

The festival started with an Opera about slavery. |
And then moved on to a modern dance interpretation of ...something? We are still trying to figure it out :) |
But the main reason we were at Trafalgar Square was Lizzies Beat. We had seen them last month when they performed at the Canary Wharf Summer Concerts and absolutely loved them! |

Eimii engrossed in the dancing. |
After leaving Trafalgar Square we headed across to the South Bank and started to walk towards Bank pier for the boat home. |
That was until we came across a percussion performance near the National Theatre. Its really hard to explain what these guys are, apart from some catchy drum beats and a mechanical dragon made from recycled tyre hubs. |
The Budgie man. Yeah, you just have to see him to believe what he does with his budgies* :) |

Taken looking to the West of the River Thames late in the afternoon. |

*No animals were harmed during his performance :) |
