Cheddar Page Cheddar Page Wells Cathedral and Market Square
9-11 August 2007

[advert] While in Wells, the Boswell's chose to stay at Oakland House Bed and Breakfast in Draycott, just a short 10 minute drive from Wells [/advert].

We had looked long and hard for accommodation near Glastonbury but everything had already gone by the time we started looking! Then the helpful people in the Cheddar Tourist office put us on to a nice little Bed and Breakfast just outside Wells.

Wells is England's smallest City, only one because its has a Cathedral. Inside the Cathedral is the 2nd oldest clock in the world, and the oldest clock that is still in working order!
Stairway to heaven? :)
Eimii and Kate hiding in the shadows.
Wells also has the oldest constantly inhabited street in Europe, where Michelle and Eimii tried to play hide and seek with Kate.
While walking around the Cathedral we came across examples of centuries old graffiti!i
The Bishops Palace.
Wells Market Square was full of activity!
The excitement was just too much for Kate.
