No, not the awesome 1970's show of the same name...but real unidentified flying objects!

We had just returned home from Ngati Ranana and when Scott went to the kitchen he called out to everyone to have a look at the strange objects floating passed the window! A hundred or so of these things floated passed in about an hour. An email to the local newspaper a day or so later brought almost instant national interest with Scott's photos being picked up by a number of national news papers.

However, it all ended innocently enough. A birthday party at the local race course was being held and during the party they released 100 Chinese lanterns. Well, thats what "the man" wants us to believe!?!?!? :)
