On our last day with Karen and Paul in London we decided to take the boat from Masthouse Pier, infront of our place, to Savoy Pier, a short walk from Westminster. We discovered how convenient this commuter service is!! We shared our 'last supper' at The Clarence, a popular little pub near Trafalgar Square and then walked back to Westminster Abbey which was closed to visitors. On our wander around the grounds we went into the Jewel Tower - now a museum but was home to Parliamentary documents and the Crown Jewels. |
