After leaving France the Unknown Warrior arrived in Whenuapai Airbase before being transferred on to a C130 and continuing his journey on to Wellington.
While we may have said goodbye in France, David was there to say hello on his arrival in to Whenuapai and then Karen and Paul were there when the funeral procession threaded its way through the streets of Wellington.
