Over the past fifteen years Cardiff Bay has been revitalised with the old docklands redeveloped into a funky living and playing area inhabited by apartments and cafes. It is regarded as one of the most successful regeneration projects in the UK. We wandered the boardwalks, visited the Christmas market at the Norweigan Church (also where Roald Dahl was christened), dined at a great cafe, and finished with icecream. A strange ending for a winter's day but it wasn't possible to turn down the selection. |
