The day after the 12 Island Cruise we went on a jeep Safari. Our first stop was in an amber forest and as we left it our guide gave the 6 of us in the jeep bottles of warm dirty water each. We looked at each other wondering what they were for BUT it soon became apparent at our next stop!
Scott and the girls covered in dust!
The bottles of water were for the mother of all water fights! In fact the entire safari was just one huge water fight! :)
The girls wouldn't say a thing to our guide! Later in our holiday we had lunch at his uncles restaurant (Lay Lay Restaurant which was out in the wops and was quite nice :)
All around the countryside were these public car washes :) This is one of the jeeps in our group, conveniently parked under the car wash!!!
Lunch was in a beautiful watering hole in the mountains on the Yuvarlak River. The water was absolutely freezing, that's why you don't see many people swimming :)
Michelle cant stand fish on the bone...she wasn't impressed when her trout turned up BUT Scott saved the day (and enjoyed the fish too:)
Push!
Whetu flying off the swing.
Our second to last stop was in a beautiful little cove. We also saw the guide from the 12 Islands Cruise here...and he was sleeping!
Looking from Iztuzu Beach across to Dalyan and Lake Koycegiz in the far distance.
For some reason one of our jeeps left the group, leaving us to cram everyone in to the two remaining vehicles!
