Airbus A380

In 2005 Scott had the privilege of being at the Le Bourget Air show in Paris to see the first official public air display of the brand new Airbus A380. Fast forward 4 years and Scott gets the chance to fly on Qantas's newest aircraft, the Airbus A380! Not only is it noticeably quieter than a 747, but it also feels much roomier and more comfortable.
The Airbus parked at Heathrow.
Scott in the best cattle class seat in the house! Seat 80k is the one to ask for as you don't have any seat in front of you (so you can stretch out) and easy access to the in flight food cabinet in the galley in front! Life doesn't get much better than that! :)
Sky Cam! You can watch take off and landing too!
QANTAS very nearly didn't have the A380 at the Air show With fuel problems grounding the fleet soon after introduction in to service, it wasn't until Virgin Australia announced their brand new Boeing 777 was going to be at the air show advertising their new Australia-USA service that QANTAS finally got off their backsides and decided to put the Airbus on static display.
This airbus is named after Australia's first female professional pilot. And no, the hyphen isn't in the wrong place.
